  22. No. They are only bacteria and fungi which decompose things in smaller bits.
    ( Actually, I followed the flow , my Answer is Yes. Cuz it is perfectly correct. Without them, imagine the world would be like... wow. wad the heck. i mean, they are the major decomposers and it would take days to let the bacteria and fungi to manipulate and decompose it. )

    to break down dead and

    waste matter into smaller

    pieces and thus speed up the

    decomposition process.

    However, they are not

    decomposers.
