MISCONCEPTIONS ON ENERGY FORMS AND USES - 2 FEB 2010 - TUESDAY

3. The planets and the moons do not have kinetic energy.

Do U agree? Why?

  1. The planets and moons do have kinetic energy because it go round the sun.

  2. Yes.It is because Kinetic energy is a form of energy that represents the energy of motion.

  3. no.the planets and the moon moves around the sun so, it has kinetic energy as kinetic energy represents the energy of moving...

yes the planets and the moon have kinetic energy bacause the planets orbit around the sun which means move around the sun.

  5. Yes, the planets and moon have kinetic energy as they can move

  6. no.it is because the planets and the moon go round the sun which will form Kinetic energy.

  9. I don't agree. The planets and the moon moves around the sun so it will form kinetic energy.

  10. yes.they have kintic energy because they move around the sun

  11. yes,the planets and the moon move around the sun and moving by kinetic energy.

  12. yes they do have kinetic energy because they move around the sun all the time

  13. i agree that a battery stores electrical energy because it needs energy so that it can be used.

  14. i agree that the planets and the moons do not have kinetic energy as it does not drop to the ground.

  15. No,as the moon does not move. The earth is the one who moves.

    ReplyDelete
  16. No,it is because there is no gravity in space.

  17. nur syafiza...

no,i do not agree. It is because both the moon and the planets orbits around the sun, which is a form of kinetic energy.

  18. No, because its not the moon who has the kinetic energy, its the earth that moves. so therefore, the earth has kinetic energy not the moon.

  19. No.becuse the earth is moving not the sun or the moon

  20. i dont agree . er because whenever something moves,it possess kinetic energy but in this case the moon is not moving, its the earth that is moving so the the earth possess kinetic energy. but i dont know about other planets because i dont knoe wether they move, but i disagree that the moon do not have kinetic energy

  21. i disagree ,because there is no gravity in space. but earth has kinetic energy to spin.

    so nice songs hahahhahahaha *_*

NO i disagree. This is because the planet rotates so it has kinetic enegy. The moon has kinetic energy because the moon rotates around the planet.

NO,the sun rotates around the earth so it created kinetic energy

    ReplyDelete
  24. NO...beacause it rotates around the sun 4.5 billion times.rotating has kinetic energy for it is moving.

yes because it has to rotate to go one whoke round

  26. Yes. Coz the space does not have any gravity, therefore it does not have any kinetic energy. However, the planets orbit around the sun. The moon will not orbit.

    ReplyDelete
  27. No.Planets and Moons have kinetic energy because in certain planets there is wind energy and all planets and moons orbit round the sun.

  28. The moon moves, hence it MUST have a kinetic energy. If it wouldn't circle around the earth, the earth's attraction would not be offset by the moon's circular motion and the moon for crash on earth.(if the moon does not have kinetic it will so call fall to the earth.)

  29. Yes, it has kinetic energy.
The sun moves around earth as well as the moon daily.. Kinetic energ represents moving things.

  30. No. Because they at least provide a little kinetic energy by revolving in the solar system.

    no
the planets and moons have kinetic energy because they move round the sun

    ReplyDelete
  32. No . Because the gravity of the sun pulled the planets near to the sun therefore there will be kinetic energy to revolve round the sun , as for the moon it's also the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  33. No,it is the earth moving not the moon moving
