2. A rock on top of a cliff does not have any energy.

Do U agree? Why?

  1. No.It is because when it hasn't tiuch the ground it will have energy.

  2. no, it did not reavh the center of the earth so it has gravitational potential energy

no, it did not reach the center of the earth so it has gravitational potential energy.

  4. No. the rock on top of a cliff has energy because it is on earth so it still has gravitational energy

  5. no it have gravity on it

  6. no.the rock on top of a cliff has not touch the ground yet and thus, it will have gravitational potential energy.

no,because it just stay there and its not falling

no ,because gravitational potential enery is the energy that is stored in an object because of its position.....:)

  9. No.It is because when an object is not on the ground it still has gravitational potential energy acting on it.

  10. no,because of the rock is not falling down.

  11. no because the rock is not above the ground

    ReplyDelete
  12. no,because when an object is above the ground it has gravitational potential energy.

  13. i disagree.its because the rock at the cliff is above the ground.so it has gravitational energy.

  14. No, it has no energy because the rock at the cliff is at the top of the cliff. therefore, there is no gravitational potiential energy, kinetic energy and sound+heart energy.

  15. sorry, sound+heat energy

  16. I disagree, because there is gravitational potential energy acting on it.

no, i do not agree. It is because the rock have not touch the ground which means that it still have gravitational potential energy.

  18. i do not agree because the rock is on top of the cliff...

  19. i disagree, the rock is on top off the cliff and it has gravitational potential energy.

  20. i dont agree . er because even if the rock is not moving, it has gravitational potential energy.

  21. no,the rock has gravitational potential energy.

  22. ( I made a mistake ) .. The rock on the cliff has Gravitational Potential Energy but it does not have any energy except for GPE.

  23. I dun agree. Even tho the rock isn't moving, there are gravitional potential energy.

  24. Thank you to all who posted:)

  25. no,rocks does not have gravitational energy

  26. No.anything lift up from the ground will have gravitational potential energy, same for the cliff too.

  27. No, because anything which are not touching the ground still have energy(even though the rock is on the ground it still have energy as we can dig the ground even deeper and that tells as that the rock on top of the cliff still have energy.

  28. Yes ( gravitational potential energy ).
The rock is above the cliff which is above the ground. It can fall down to the ground when pushed.

    ReplyDelete
  29. No. Because a rock on top of a cliff has gravitational potential energy.

no,even when an object is not moving, the rock has gravitational potential energy acting on it.

  31. no,any object that is not miving also has gravitational potential energy acting on it.
